Billing Terms and Privacy

1. Payment terms

Payment is due on receipt.

We do not charge a late fee. If a balance goes unpaid, we will follow up by email rather than adding a penalty.

2. Card surcharge

Card payments carry a 2.9% processing surcharge, applied at checkout and shown before you confirm. There is no surcharge for ACH bank transfer, check, or Zelle.

The surcharge covers the cost of accepting a card. We ask for it because our checkout cannot always tell a debit card from a credit card at the moment the fee is applied, and card network rules do not allow a surcharge on debit cards.

If you paid by debit card, email billing@edwardsd.cc and we will refund the surcharge. No argument needed. Just tell us which invoice.

3. Lessons and scheduling

Cancel or reschedule a lesson with at least 24 hours notice and there is no charge. A lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed with no notice at all, counts as the lesson. We may offer a makeup lesson, but it is offered at the studio's discretion, not guaranteed.

Prepaid lesson packs are non-refundable and do not expire. Unused lessons cannot be transferred to another student.

First-time students pay before their first lesson. If that invoice is still unpaid 24 hours before the lesson, the time is released.

If a conflict comes up on our side, we may move a lesson with at least 24 hours notice. The full lesson terms are at amphionstudio.com/terms.

4. Ownership of work

Ownership of the work we deliver, including page designs, custom code, and custom graphics, transfers to you once your invoice is paid in full. Before that, the work remains ours.

5. Disputes and chargebacks

If you have a question or a dispute about an invoice, raise it in writing to billing@edwardsd.cc within 10 days of the invoice date. That gives us a real chance to sort out a mistake directly, which is faster for you and cheaper for both of us than a bank dispute.

A card chargeback filed without using that process first is a breach of these terms. You remain responsible for the invoiced amount plus any chargeback fees.

6. Third-party costs

Costs like domain registration, paid service tiers, and licensed assets are yours, billed at cost as their own line items on the invoice. We do not mark them up.

7. Sales tax

Anthony Edward Studios LLC does not charge Ohio sales tax on music instruction, acting instruction, or custom design services. If a service we provide becomes taxable under Ohio law, the tax will appear as its own line on your invoice.

8. Governing law

These terms, and any invoice issued under them, are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio.

9. Privacy

What we collect

To send an invoice and take a payment, we collect your name, billing address, email address, and phone number, along with whatever payment details the method you choose requires: a card number, billing zip code, and CVV for a card, or the account details ACH, PayPal, or Venmo need to move the payment.

Payment processors

Card and payment details go directly to Stripe and PayPal, the two payment processors we use. Anthony Edward Studios LLC never sees or stores your full card number. It does not pass through our own server.

Cloudflare

This site runs behind Cloudflare, which keeps it online and filters abuse. Cloudflare's analytics see request metadata, such as your IP address and browser type, on every visit, the same way most business websites work.

Google Fonts

This page and the payment portal load a typeface from Google Fonts. Loading it sends Google your IP address and basic browser information. No billing data is shared with Google.

How long we keep records

Invoices and payment records are business tax records. We keep them for at least seven years, which is standard practice for the records behind a small business's tax filings.

Your options

Email billing@edwardsd.cc to ask what we have on file for you, or to ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Records tied to a paid invoice stay for the retention period above regardless of the request, because tax law requires it.

We do not sell client information. What we hold exists to bill you correctly and to keep the records the law requires of us.

10. Contact

Anthony Edward Studios will never ask you for a card number, a CVV, or a payment by phone or email. If a message asks you for either, it did not come from us.
